Noticeability
Are citrus perfumes noticeable to other people
A citrus perfume can be noticeable even when its opening feels light or bright. How others perceive it depends on the complete product, application and setting rather than the citrus note alone.
A HUME Fragrance buying guide

Separate brightness from projection
An opening you find vivid is a scent impression, not a measured radius. Supporting notes may contribute to noticeability after that opening changes.
Use normal appropriate feedback
If useful, ask a willing person whether the fragrance is noticeable in a permitted setting. Do not increase application simply to force a response.
Compare later observations
Check whether surrounding presence changes separately from citrus brightness. The full fragrance becoming quieter is not identical to one note fading.
Try this before you buy
Ask about overall noticeability and record citrus character separately at the same stage of a trial.
