Does perfume expire
Perfume does not have one universal expiry period for every formula and storage history. Follow any maker-provided expiry or after-opening information and ask about a specific product when its condition concerns you.

Batch information and opening dates can be useful records, but they do not supply a universal usability verdict.
Keep observations proportionate
A colour shift alone does not necessarily establish spoilage. A change in smell, container or performance needs product-specific context.
Avoid home restoration
Do not add water, alcohol or other materials to fix an old scent. Ask the maker if the product seems unsuitable to use.
