Planning fragrance quantity
How long will a 3ml perfume sample last
A 3ml sample's usable quantity depends on the applicator, amount used and frequency of wear. That is separate from how long the scent remains noticeable after one application or how long the product can be stored.
A HUME Fragrance buying guide

Choose the meaning of last
Days of use, wear duration and shelf life are different questions. A stated volume cannot answer all three.
Record actual trials
Note use dates and the exact applicator instead of assuming a fixed number of sprays per ml.
Keep the comparison purposeful
Use unfamiliar scents separately and save a promising candidate for a repeat wear rather than rushing to empty it.
At a glance
| Meaning of last | What affects it | What volume alone cannot tell you |
|---|---|---|
| Quantity in use | Applicator output, amount and frequency | Exact number of sprays or days |
| Scent after application | Exact fragrance, context and perception | Guaranteed hours or projection |
| Condition in storage | Maker guidance and storage history | One universal expiry date |
Try this before you buy
Track the sample's actual use dates and repeat-wear decisions without assigning a universal spray yield.
