Product identity and trust
Original vs fake perfume difference
An original brand perfume is made or supplied under that brand's identity; a counterfeit misrepresents its identity as that brand. A clearly identified inspired fragrance is a different product category, not automatically an original or counterfeit.
A HUME Fragrance buying guide

Read the identity claim
Check whose product the seller actually says it is. Similar scent direction alone cannot determine provenance.
Avoid visual verdicts
Packaging, codes and scent impressions can raise questions but are not conclusive checks for every product.
Use traceable channels
Prefer clear seller records and consult the claimed brand's official retailer information where available.
Try this before you buy
Separate the product's claimed maker from the fragrance it references before assessing an offer.
