Getting started
Perfume buying guide for beginners
A useful perfume purchase has four parts: a scent you enjoy, a format you understand, a price you can afford and a seller whose product identity and policies are clear. Learn those basics before comparing promotions.
A HUME Fragrance buying guide

Read the product identity first
Check who makes the fragrance and what is actually being sold. An inspired interpretation, a designer original and a decant from another brand's bottle are different products. A familiar inspiration name does not make them interchangeable.
Understand size and format
Compare the stated millilitres and whether the item is a spray, oil or sample set. Concentration labels such as EDP describe a product category; they are not a guarantee that you will enjoy it or get a fixed number of hours of wear.
Review the complete order
Before paying, check your chosen variant, delivery information, availability and return terms. Do not assume disliking a fragrance qualifies for a refund. Save your selection and order confirmation so you can recognize the product later.
Try this before you buy
Compare two listings using brand, format, millilitres, total cost and return conditions.
