What is extrait de parfum
Extrait de parfum is commonly used for a concentrated fragrance interpretation. It is not a guarantee of pure undiluted fragrance, a universal percentage or the strongest projection, and it may differ in composition from another version of the same name.

Read the brand's interpretation
Check the exact notes and format rather than assuming extrait simply means more of an identical recipe. Concentration-style terminology is not globally fixed.
Separate concentration and experience
A concentrated product may emphasize a different texture or balance. Only an actual trial can tell you whether you prefer it to another interpretation.
Choose the commitment carefully
Review the size and final cost and sample the exact version where available. The highest label category is not automatically the best starting purchase.
Try this before you buy
Write what you expect extrait to improve, then check whether the actual product description supports that expectation.
