Fabric comparisons
Do citrus perfumes last longer on clothes
A citrus perfume's opening and its full scent can develop differently on different permitted application surfaces. No universal clothes-versus-skin claim follows from the citrus label, and a garment trace is not proof of lasting citrus brightness.

Review material care
Read both the perfume's intended use and the garment instructions. A small tester or clear-looking liquid does not establish that direct fabric application is appropriate.
Track the right quality
Decide whether you mean citrus opening, later supporting scent or surrounding presence. Those endpoints can lead to different impressions of lasting.
Avoid a shortcut
If you mainly enjoy the opening, another composition may fit better. Do not treat clothing application as a guaranteed way to preserve one bright note indefinitely.
Try this before you buy
Define citrus brightness separately from a general remaining trace before considering a permitted comparison.
