Scent fit
How to tell if fresh perfumes suit my skin
Separate two questions: whether you enjoy a fresh perfume as it develops, and whether the finished product meets your ingredient or skin-compatibility needs. A fresh scent label answers neither automatically, and a preference trial is not an allergy assessment.
A HUME Fragrance buying guide

Define scent fit
For preference, describe the freshness you like and judge the later character during label-directed appropriate use. Marine, citrus and green directions can feel different.
Check product information
Use the actual ingredient and use information for requirements. A note list is a scent description rather than a full formula or evidence of suitability for a skin type.
Keep reactions outside the ranking
Do not keep applying a product to prove a match if it causes irritation. Seek appropriate professional advice about reactions rather than treating a quiz or a sample as a diagnostic test.
Try this before you buy
Make separate lists for scent preferences and confirmed ingredient or use requirements before comparing products.
