Why do oil perfumes fade quickly
An oil carrier does not guarantee long wear or explain every fading impression. Evaluate the finished perfume, application and perception rather than assuming an oil product must outperform every alcohol-based fragrance.

Identify the finished cosmetic
Read intended use and directions. A raw fragrance material or home-scent oil is different from a personal perfume oil and should not be substituted in a wearing trial.
Separate quietness and absence
A closer-range experience is not the same as complete disappearance. Record the later scent and any contextual noticeability observation separately.
Avoid carrier-only conclusions
A roller or dabber can deliver different amounts from a spray. Compare complete experiences without inventing a drop-to-spray conversion.
Try this before you buy
Record the oil's exact applicator and later close-range impression before attributing fading to the carrier.
